Words, warmth
& memories.
MorrowVault is a private check-in app and digital legacy vault. It is not a legal service. It is not estate planning. It is a place for the things that matter to the people who matter.
The quiet question
There is a version of this problem that estate planning tries to solve. It asks: what happens to my property, my accounts, my belongings? It involves lawyers, documents, and legally binding language. That version already has plenty of tools.
MorrowVault came from a different question. Not about property. About people.
What happens to the things I meant to say?
The message to your child for a moment you might not be there for. The voice note your partner would want to hear one more time. The memory you want preserved for someone you love. These things do not fit in a will. They do not belong in a legal document. They belong somewhere private, safe, and built for words — not assets.
What we build
MorrowVault has two parts that work together.
A simple habit: confirm you are okay on a schedule you choose. If your silence lasts too long, MorrowVault gently reaches out to people you trust. Not with your location. Not with surveillance. Just a quiet signal that says: something might be wrong.
A private place for messages, voice notes, videos, photos, and files. You decide who receives what, and under what conditions. Nothing is shared today. Nothing releases automatically from a single missed check-in. You write the rules.
Together, they answer the question many people quietly carry: if something happened to me, would the people I love know what I wanted them to know?
What we are not
MorrowVault is not a legal will. It is not an estate-planning service. It does not involve lawyers, formal attestation, or the legal distribution of assets or property. It is a personal tool for words and memories — not a substitute for professional legal, financial, or medical advice.
We say this clearly because we mean it. If you need legal estate planning, please work with a qualified professional. MorrowVault is for the part that legal planning cannot hold: the human part.
What we believe
Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it. No live location tracking required. No broadcasting to anyone. The vault is yours until you decide otherwise.
A missed check-in is not a crisis. MorrowVault reminds you first. Waiting periods prevent false alarms. The release process is measured, not sudden.
This is not a compliance tool. It is a human one. The goal is that the people you love receive what you meant for them — not a form, not a policy, but your actual words.
Update messages anytime. Change recipients. Adjust waiting periods. Cancel at any point. MorrowVault is a tool you manage — it does nothing without your rules.
Who it is for
MorrowVault is for anyone who carries a quiet version of this question. You do not need to be old, ill, or in a difficult situation. Most people who use it are:
Where we are
MorrowVault is in private beta. We are a small team building carefully, with people who care about getting this right. This is not a product built for scale at any cost — it is built for the moments that matter, which means it needs to work quietly and reliably.
We are launching in 2026. If this resonates, join the waitlist. If you have a question, write to us at support@morrowvault.com.
The person behind it
Tim is a full-stack developer who lived alone for several years. The question that wouldn’t leave him — if something went wrong one night and I couldn’t call anyone, how long before someone noticed? — became the seed of MorrowVault. He built it for anyone who has quietly asked the same thing.
